It is designed for high performance driving and was inspired by the 599XX, the experimental track car. The GTO adopted the redesigned crank, six-branch exhaust manifolds and a inlet manifold with short tracts for better high-rpm power from the 599XX.
The interior of the vehicle is simplistic and functional with honey-comb patterned seats and a carbon-topped steering wheel with shift light built into the rim. The Ferrari badge is proudly displayed on the steering wheel and just incase it slips your mind, the letters GTO are written on the left-hand side of the instrument binnacle.
